Whelp, after a loooong hiatus (December 13th until February 7th!!) we are FINALLY back! Goodness gracious we missed all those wonderful high school students crammed in the Butler's basement! We had a lot of fun tonight, we sang some songs, played some games, laughed a bunch, and spent some time talking about Jesus. Tonight we talked about about a story from The Book of Mark, chapter 8 where Jesus asks his disciples what people are saying about him, and who they think he is. We talked about the fact that all of us have opinions about who Jesus is and from there I asked if we would, as a group, try to answer that question this semester. I showed the video below to get the ball rolling. It's by Michael Gungor Band, and it's called "White Man" and it's incredible! Hope you like it! Also, special thanks to the Schaefer's for having us over for a wonderful dinner, to the Butler's for hosting us once again for Young Life, and to Limeberry for hosting all us crazies afterwards!
